Marina Pricing Notes
Berthage rates
- To qualify for monthly rates berthage must be paid in advance.
- A minimum charge of 3 days may apply.
- Unarranged berthage or incomplete documentation may incur a penalty of $100 documentation fee and may result in the vessel being refused berthage.
- If cancellation of pre-booked berthage occurs with less than one week’s notice Port Nikau may charge up to one week’s berthage if the berth cannot be promptly re-rented.
- No charge for the day of departure if gone by midday. Otherwise, a full day’s charge applies.
- Liveaboard rates apply if onboard stay is longer than 14 days and are for a maximum of two people.
- A maximum of one 4-month period per year of berth reservation for return is available at 50% of the boat’s berthage rate at the discretion of the Marine Manager. Port Nikau have the right to sublease the berth while vacant. Minimum of 1-month vacancy is required for this to apply.
Refit repairs and maintenance
- Refit work is permitted at the Maintenance Berth (subject to approval by the Marine Manager) but not at Port Nikau Marina (Pier B and C). Minor maintenance is permitted at Port Nikau Marina. For further information contact the Marine Manager.
Security and risk management
- Vessel movements are subject to security camera surveillance.
- Registering your vessel online confirms the vessel carries current Marine Hull Liability Insurance of at least five million dollars. On request, a copy is to be provided to Port Nikau.
