The Waitai Trail is now officially open for public use, offering a chance to experience the beauty of Port Nikau from a different perspective.
The current trail is a flat gravel walkway and cycle path, stretching just under 4 km. Starting from 325 Port Road, with parking available beside Acropolis Restaurant and the Port Nikau showroom, the route takes you towards the coast before looping around the Superyacht Wharf, out to Waitai Point, and along the Park Point walkway through Stage 1.
